🌊Dive into Colombo’s Underwater Treasures

As you descend along the line, the shadowy outline of a cargo freighter slowly emerges—a hauntingly beautiful superstructure resting on the ocean floor. Just off the bow, a shimmering yellow cloud catches your eye: a massive school of snapper, hundreds strong, drifting gracefully in the current. Look closer and you’ll discover a hidden world of macro life tucked into every crevice. And don’t forget to glance upward—whale sharks sometimes cruise by, not on every dive, but often enough to make you wonder if today’s your lucky day.

⚓ Wreck Diving in Colombo

If you’re a true wreck enthusiast (or “wreck-head,” as we like to say), Colombo is your playground. The sites here range from the colossal Thermopylae Sierra, offering penetration opportunities for divers of all skill levels, to smaller tugboats brimming with marine life. Each wreck has become a thriving ecosystem, home to large resident fish populations—proof that wrecks beat fishing nets every time.

🐠 More Than Just Wrecks

Whether you’re passionate about exploring wrecks or simply want to soak in the vibrant marine life, Colombo’s dive sites deliver unforgettable experiences. And yes, we also have regular reefs for those who prefer a more traditional underwater adventure.

🎓 Certification Requirements

Most wreck sites require an Advanced Open Water certification. However, Open Water divers aren’t left out—you can still join the dives if you have documented deep diving experience or choose to complete an Advanced Course/Deep Adventure Dive (available for a nominal surcharge).
