Learn to Dive – the PADI Open Water Course

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular dive certification course in the world, and for good reason. It covers the basic theory and practical training required to give you the skills to explore the underwater world and is the first step towards becoming a certified scuba diver.

The course can usually be completed in 4 days, and all you need to start is that you are above 10 years of age, have basic swimming skills and be in good health. That’s it!

The course consists of three components:

Knowledge Development: You will be introduced to diving theory through a mix of videos, self-study modules and instructor briefings.

Confined Water Training: Your instructor will teach you all the basic practical skills in the calm environment of a swimming pool and/or shallow water.

Open Water Dives: You are now ready to try everything you learned across 4 training dives in the ocean. You will practice and repeat everything you learnt in your confined water training but also get to explore the underwater world of reefs, wrecks and colorful marine life. And of course, you are always under the close supervision of your PADI instructor.

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive your very own PADI certification card. This is your passport to the underwater world and the beginning of many new adventures!

Our Open Water course incorporates industry-leading best practices in terms of diver training, and our instructors are committed to helping you master the skills of the course so that you leave as a safe and confident diver, and have fun doing so. We will not compromise your training in order to rush the course, and our courses are also run in small groups (maximum of 4 students per instructor) to ensure you get a more personalized learning experience.
