Emergency First Response
The Emergency First Response (EFR) Course focuses on practical life-saving skills that
are useful both in diving and everyday life. It builds confidence in handling medical emergencies
and is a required prerequisite for the Rescue Diver Course.
● Course Duration: 1 day
What the day looks like –
Over one day, you’ll complete theory and hands-on practical sessions, where you’ll learn,
HOW TO:
● Recognize medical emergencies and respond effectively.
● Perform CPR and rescue breathing.
● Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
● Manage bleeding, shock, and soft tissue injuries.
● Provide primary and secondary care until professional help arrives.
● Stay calm and structured during emergency situations.
Training is fully practical and scenario-based, ensuring you can apply these skills confidently
when it matters most.
